Management of corpses in Islam is a collective obligation (fardhu kifayah) which must be carried out with full respect. The process includes:
1.Washing the corpse to clean and purify the body.
2.Shrouding the body as the final covering of the nakedness that shows honor.
3.Praying for the corpse as a prayer and request for forgiveness from Allah SWT.
4.Bury the body in a proper, safe and according to sharia manner.
By following this procedure, Muslims show their final respect, love and concern for their brothers and sisters who have died.
